thats not even a "signed" ball... its one of the souvinir ones. I think I used those as extra batting practice balls when I was a kid. (Grew up just outside of Atl)

You would think that a teacher would be just a little bit smarter than that.............Must have been some kinda of education for a $100,000 ball, probably worth a $1,000,000 though and he just giving everyone a deal with the FREE SHIPPING

Check out the quote as he relisted it "
For those of you whom is not interested in buying the ball, please do not waste my time with your personal opinion(s)."

Think anyone has told him how CRAZY this offer is and you would think a teacher's gammer would be better

i think it has to be really signed since it is smeared.

Its smeared???? A smeared ball is 100 000 dollars? And plus theres no real proof that it is actually authentic

So I decided to toy with this clown and sent her a message on eBay asking if she would lower the price to $50K as that was all I could afford. This was the response I got:

"I am willing to drop the pay to $65,500. Let me know if you are still interested."

Yeah, I had to laugh at that response.

one of the other posts kinda hit the nail on the head.

dare i say that it is actually worth the price? first, lets think about it, this is the only world series winning team in atlanta braves history.

but most importantly, this ball is a 1/1 guys and gals!!!

where else could you get sigs of "david Justic", "Greg Maddox", "John Smultz", or the basestealing legend "Otis Nixion"?

you all will laugh when i buy it, have it sliced up so that i can sell the individual on ball sigs of these 4 legends. jealous yet??

Hey,

This thread sincerely disappoints me. For one, it's painfully obvious that this person is not a baseball fan. It's not like this is some smart alec seller, and I think by the username, it's a woman.

No offense, but when people read stuff like this that are trying to learn about our wonderful hobby, it makes us all look like the real fools, instead of mocking the person, maybe try to educate them.

Well, I have an opposite viewpoint. I hate seeing people try to rip-off unsuspecting buyers with bogus junk at outrageous prices. So I get a little upset when I see dumb auctions like this one, hence the mocking. And I'm sorry, but if you can't even spell the players names correctly (John Smultz?), then you are deserving of ridicule.

I don't think the seller is trying to rip anyone off here. They have no clue, that's the problem. If you can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you.
