He probably just signed the first 22 of them. That's a phenomenal pull, especially out of a retail (hobby) box. Congrats! Would love to see a scan!

i'm pretty sure they auto'd the first 22 of each print run that set- yours being #2/22 with the remaining regular issues.

they tend to do this a lot.
