here are my predictions for the NHL 2003-2004 season

lmk wut u think, whether u disagree or agree

Atlantic Division
1.Flyers- they overcame injuries and weak goals and only finished 2 points behind the stanley cup champion
2.Devils- old age will catch up to them
3.Rangers- lots of offense, still no defense with the potential loss of leetch and shopping tom poti
4.Islanders- firing lavilette is biggest and maybe the last mistake for Mike Milbury
5.Penguins- mario's magic wont be enough for the penguins

Philly-I think they will at least get to the Conference finals IF Hackett can play like he can.

New Jersey-I think we'll see them make a trade before or early in the season to make up for the loss of Nieuwendyk just to fine tune there roster.

NY Rangers-I think we'll see them in the playoffs finally although just barely making it. Still no D even though DeVries was a good aquisition.

NY Islanders-This is the team that will not make the playoffs due to the Rangers. I agree the firing of Laviolette was a big loss. They should bring Trottier in LOL

Penguins-This is basically an AHL team. The only bright spot is that Lemieux will have the privelidge of tutoring all those young players like Fata Orpik and the others. Hopefully we'll see a bit of Marc Andre Fleury to at least keep some fan interest.

philly- my favorite team might have their season- cechmanek may put up better nmbers than hackett but in the playoffs, goals are hard to come by and when u let in softys, its tough, they make it to the finals

devils- to old, but watch out for parise, i was banging my head into the wall when they got him

rangers- d is awful with the possibilty of a trade sending poti and maybe losing leetch to the flyers

islanders- agree

penguins- agree
