Southeast Division
1.Lightning- martin st. louis will prove his year wasnt a fluke and so will the lightning
2.Capitals-with jagr maybe gone, bruce cassidy can worry about the team, not pleasing the overpaid czech
3.Panthers-years in future look bright with stud in goal, on defense, and 2 power forwards just drafted
4.Hurricanes-last year will be proved a fluke with the signing of wesley and a good start to the season
5.Thrashers- heatley and kovalchuk may have a new goalie this year, which may mean more losses but a contender sooner (lehtonen)

Tampa Bay-Prospal was a huge loss. This team still has a decent offense though. Dan Boyle has become a solid d-man and hopefully he'll continue to get better. I think Nikita Alexeev is gonna step into the lineup and contribute now that he'll have the chance.

Florida-They have been going downhill since they traded Jovanovski. But Now with Bouwmeester and Luongo they will start to develop into a good defensive team. With a couple of good young guys like Huselius,Weiss and Jokinen there offense is decent but still doesn't put fear into other teams defense.

Carolina-I don't see them in the playoffs again this year and I think Brind Amour might be shipped out. Maybe New Jersey would be interested. He'd be a great addition to make that late playoff push.

Atlanta-Another one of my favorite teams. Heatley and Kovalchuk compliment eachother so well and they are stacked in net with all their goalie prospects and Dafoe.
