Amare, Butler, Yao, Gooden?

My money is on Butler right now.

I'll go with Stoudemire, although I think Gooden could make a run at it.

I'd say Stoudemire or Yao. It's a tough call though.

Probably Yao because of the hype, be it should be Caron Butler

It'll be Stoudamire unless the Suns don't make the playoffs. Then Yao will get it.

stoudemire for sure, it's hard to pass on a HS player to NBA and doing what he is doing this year, the heat suck and if the Suns make the playoffs it is a sure bet, but if not it will be close.

it should be butler...hes the most consistent. amare has gained popularity and puts up good stats and hes also an explosive player so i think he will win.

Depends on which team gets the 8th seed in the east. I think Stoudemire is and will be the better player

im going yao right now...it will be wither him or stoudamire but butler wont get it because of the team he is on

think again I think to when Grant Hill and Big Dawg Robinson had the ROY fight, I thought Robinson had a better year, #1 draft pick avg 17+ points a game, but Hill's a Duke guy and carried alot of hype, dad and all. Now he can't even complete 50 games in a season.

First off, we really need an archive for threads this old. Secondly, Tracymcgrady, have you watched Lebron play this year? lol. Lebron is a far better player that Melo will ever be! Melo will be very good, but Lebron can make his teammates better & has a good grasp on all aspects of the game. Melo is really nothing more than a scorer, where Lebron will fill up every line on a stat sheet.

it's going to be melo, or wade, I have watched all of them play I just don't like the way bron plays, and please don't go replying sayign how stupid I am, it is just my opinion

I think Wade has a great shot. Since his return hes averaging about 24 point per game. He also has quite a bit of assists to go along with that!

I think LeBron will win because he has a better overall game, and the Cavs might just make the playoffs.
