The puck has dropped and the 2010-2011 NHL season is officially on its way! For hockey collectors everywhere that also means a new hobby season is kicking off and this year, there is a new player on the ice: Panini America. Keen to introduce itself to puck fans, Panini has agreed to sponsor a season long series of contests held on Sportscardforum.

Throughout the season, SCF will challenge its members to take part in 5 different contests to test their hockey knowledge and predicting abilities. The winning member of each contest will receive a box of Panini cards! With products such as Certified, Score, Donruss and Limited on the release calendar SCF is sure to see many box breaks in the coming months and is absolutely thrilled that 5 members will be lucky enough to receive a free box.

While the boxes are in themselves a wonderfull prize, Panini has yet another ace up its sleeve! Members taking part in the monthly contests will also be awarded points toward the Panini’s March to the Playoffs contests and at the end of the last contest, the leader of the overall scoreboard will receive the grand prize: an autographed puck of the 1st overall pick of the 2010 NHL entry draft and new star of the Edmonton Oilers: Taylor Hall!
