Just looking for opinions on this signature. Does not have a COA with it.

I'm no expert, but it doesn't look right to me. The loops on the Ms look different than any legit Mantle I've seen. You have to be real careful with Mantle, I think he's one of the Top 5 forged signatures in sports. Here a pic of my Upper Deck Authenticated Mantle signed ball for comparison:

Ok so I already own this bat, it was part of a large collection that I purchased. Most of the other items had COA and LOA's with them. This one, unfortunately, did not. I guess my question is, does anyone think its worth the $150 gamble for PSA/DNA or the $75 gamble for JSA. I just wouldn't want to waste money if there is no chance it is legit. The M's are the only thing that looks a little off but after some research on his certified auto'd bats, some of his M's do have the loops in them. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks to all who have already posted!

My advice would be to put it up as an eBay auction and then run a PSA/DNA quick opinion on it. If the quick opinion comes back genuine, then you can send in for full authentication. If the quick opinion comes back negative, then you are only out $7.49 instead of $150.

Also remember sigs can come out a little different on different types of items.

The hesitation between the "M" and the "I" on Mickey looks really bad, I'm 99% sure it's a fake.
