Can anyone give me the scoop on this guy? I've heard he's good and I see his cards are out the roof but I haven't found a real good write up telling me why.

a lot of hype, but he also was a #1 draft pick so who knows the twins have always had a pretty good system for raising talent.

I don't know anything about him, but he was on the cover of Beckett a little while ago and I put it in plastic and packed it away... maybe someday if he's a star I can pull it out and reminisce.

TWINS MADE A BIG FUSS ABOUT HIM JUST BECAUSE HES FROM ST PAUL. IVE SEEN HIM PLAY AND HES OK BUT ITS TO EARLY TO JUDGE HIM. YOU HAVE TO WAIT A COUPLE YEARS SINCE HES ONLY IN SINGLE A. BUT I DONT THINK HELL BE A FISK OR BENCH

Alot of rookies get hyped up, I should have sold my Contrareas and Ishii rookies when they where worth something.

He's a great young catcher in the Twin's org. Brother Jake plays in the Twins org. too.

Alot of his hype is just because he's a local. He is pretty good, and his numbers are pretty good. I beleive this is his 1st year, or is it his 2nd? Well either way he just got promoited to AA.

He has been compared to a young Dale Murphy and should develop into a middle of the order hitter.

He was picked right in front of Prior

Probably because he was the first overall pick of the 2001 draft.

the twins are really high on this dude and he is putting up pretty decent stats, and his upward climb is looking good, and another thing the twins must have some helluva batting coaches in the minors because everyone they bring up can hit and hit with power, they got a guy they just called up a couple of weeks ago hitting clean up and is hitting .350 pushed torrii out of the 4 spot...that to me say a lot because torrii was very close to being a 30-30 man last year...
