I'm in favor of this (http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/01/14/2016622/obama-to-ease-travel-restrictions.html). Let's let cold war grudges die. Vietnam was responsible for 10s of thousands of American deaths in the Vietnam War yet we have great relations with them.

Definitely agreed. If Nixon could open relations with China in the middle of the Cold War, we can open it with Cuba 20 years after it ended.

Agreed. I'd like to see US-Cuba relations get better.

For us above the 49th, it's a great place to spend a vacation :)

Good to hear. For the US to hold such a grudge with Cubans never really made a lot of sense. I guess Castro being leader for so long may have factored in, but if you placed all of the countries that we should have bad relations with because of past conflicts and wars on a list, I'd think Cuba would be listed below quite a few. Like I said I think the change of leadership has probably progressed our relations in other countries faster than in Cuba, but seems like it's about time to get past things.

One step into the 20th century, now if they can come ahead in other areas maybe they can come out into the 21st century......
