I have been removed from hockey cards for over 20 years and am now getting into it with my son, pretty fun completing a set with him. But, I am finding that I want to pick up some gu/auto cards to sell/trade and am wondering with the huge amount of cards available what packs/boxes are worth spending a bit of money on. I am not wanting to spend huge amounts of money but would be willing to take a chance on a good pull or 2 from a box. what do you recommend and is Ebay a good place to buy the boxes from?

i couple of months ago i bought a box of 02-03 stadium club, because the dealer was out of everything else. it was actually one of the better boxes ive ever gotten. you are guaranteed 2 memorabilia cards or 1 memorabilia and 1 auto. i got two jersey cards and an autograph card in my box. i also got three nice rookies of spezza, bouchard, and chistov. it is also a moderately priced box

I find it is more fun to open up some of the cheaper boxes such as Stadium Club, Victory, or even the topps/O-Pee-Chee. With these, if you pull a auto or gu, it is a bonus, but if you don't pull one on one of the expensive boxes, you are kicking yourself for shelling out the money.
