Vintage Blue Jays Jersey. Authentic?

Hey guys, i might be purchasing this jersey off a local classifieds site, and im wondering is this a vintage jersey? Im hoping somebody can give me a little more information on it i.e. year, correct stitching/style etc. Heres a pic:

The jersey is from the mid 90s (alternate jersey from 94-96), but I don't think it is an authentic Jays jersey because the J in word Jays would be between the buttons. The picture isn't very clear, but the lettering also looks like it is embroidered and not tackle twill. I don't think that jersey is worth much more than $10 bucks to buy and wear to a game or pub.
