I think the St.Louis Blues 27 straight years in the playoffs should be on there. Its the longest in sports history.

10. Chick Hearn's 3,338 consecutive games broadcasting streak
I think that's a bit of a stretch to put a fruitin' broadcaster in here... Sheez, granted, it takes a bit of iron will to broadcast 3,338 consecutive games, but still, that ain't a sports skill.

The List: Greatest individual streaks

So, the BLues wouldn't be on there. And I think it has something to do with a good streak. Otherwise, how aobut the Detroit Lions not winning a playoff game since 54?

Streetjammin...

That's incorrect. The Lions won a playoff game in '91.

Are you SERIOUS??

1. How many times have you listened to Chick Hearn? I've listened to him since I could remember back as a child during Magic Johnson era.

2. How many days have you missed -- at either work or at school?
When you went to school, did you have perfect attendance from kindergarten through 12th grade?

If you do, and can prove it, I will send you a cash prize. This involves you giving me your school's phone number, your principal from elementary school and high school, and other info that I would need in order to confirm this.

The topic was the top 10 greatest sports streaks. What Chick Hearn accomplished is ASTOUNDING. To never miss a day of work in over 30+ years is incredible.

PM me your private information, and if I confirm it to be true, you will get a cash prize, and I ain't talking $1, either

i have to say either indians consecutive sellouts or dimaggios hitting streak. neither will ever be broken and probably never approached.

How about the Philadelphia Flyers Unbeaten Streak in 1980 of 35 games! That was pretty impressive.

See at least the Bills made the Super Bowl 4 straight years....but that still doesn't make up for the fact that they lost 4 in a row. :( :( :(

BTW Boston hasn't won a World Series since 1918. Everyone should know that one.
