View Full Version : Jersey Question

I want to have some signed Jerseys in my collection but I don't have the money to go buy a full size one and have it autographed and then framed. Do you think it is a good idea to get a child size jersey and get it signed and them framed? The Jersey would be cheaper and framing would be cheaper. Let me know what you think. Also are there places that sell signed child size jerseys? Thanks for the help.

there are a few sellers on ebay that sell authentic jerseys for under $100

Yeah, i would suggest just looking around for adult jerseys. You can find them just as cheap at the right place!

You can generally purchase jerseys at a good price off of EBAY or any other jersey selling site for cheap.
Also, depending on who you're looking for, you may be better off looking for the jersey signed already at a good price.
Plus, you can do the framing yourself at just the price of a frame.

Terrible idea man, no offense. If you are going to get a jersey done, at least get it right and buy an Adult size... IMO

Spring for the adult and go to Michael's, JoAnn's or some other larger craft store for a frame

child size jerseys it's not very bad idea !

I'm not sure but the child size jerseys might have different sized numbers which would look a little strange when signed and framed. I agree with the posters that said that you could buy your own frames and frame it yourself. That way, you save on that portion of the cost!

If your going to keep the Jerseys forever then get the kid jersey signed, but if you might sell it down the road. I think it will hurt the value!

And for heaven's sake, don't buy a knockoff jersey.
Getting a professional's autograph is a special thing, don't go the cheap route, go the smart route. You'll regret not getting it in a adult size down the road so take the oppurtunity to do it right. Also, I buy these jersey shadow boxes at Michael's. Regular cost is $99 but it seems that once a month they have a 50% off sale and I end up getting them for $50. The front opens up and you can change out the jersey easily.
