hi guys

honestly i don't really now what exactly is going on in the US about the deadline other than the US owing huge amounts of money. so i am hoping to learn from other members knowledge of what possibilities could this crisis mean for Canadians. if this thread has already been made i am sorry in advance.

If they get downgraded it will have huge consequences for the US and that means we (along with the rest of the world) will feel it to some degree. On the bright side, our $ is holding steady at $1.06 US which makes cross-border shopping great for us.

To the OP, considering the US economy is larger than that of numerous other countries combined, it will have an impact on virtually the entire world.
