I recently bought this photo pretty expensive too and I believe it is authentic but I had PSA do a quick check and they said Likely Not Genuine what do you guys thank of it. To me it looks like a in person quick autograph and if you look at the 5 it is perfect I think this time PSA is wrong and I should just send it to JSA. I have 10 other Pujols Autos all JSA certified so I know what a Pujols autograph looks like plus if you look at the photo it is a perfect flowing signature either its his autograph or a really really good forger. Anyway just let me know what you think.

I can show you guys my collection later if I get some responses I got 3 balls a jersey and 2 cards plus this photo. One ball is game used, and signed.

A friend of mine got him when he came through Kinston with Potomac. The two autos look nothing alike. That being said, he may have altered it some.

Here look at these tell me they are not pretty identical.

And there are others. I do believe this is authentic and it is a quick in person autograph like you would receive at the stadium. Again I think PSA is full of you know what and that if I took this to JSA then it would pass just like all the other autographs I got. I think PSA did not pass this because they have never seen the exact same autograph but if you look all the characteristics are there. I also was told by James Spence himself that Pujols changes his autograph all the time and sometimes does it on purpose just because he is annoyed of all the fans asking him for autographs so he makes it sloppy and he writes it fast, not like if he was signing for upperdeck where it would be all pretty and neat.

PSA and JSA can't always be right. You already know that. I'd say it is a legit in person at the ballpark sig which makes it quicker and not the perfect strokes they are looking for.

Looking at your photo, I take it as being authentic based on my opinion only. I've seen some variations of his like the one you have on your photo.... but that's just me. Good luck!

Why waste another $30-$50.00 on getting it verified from JSA?

Its a fake. The signature doesnt flow correctly. Try tracing the strokes. Even if he lifted the sharpie it still cant be traced logically. If it was a rushed sig at a park he doesnt bring the tail of his s's all the way through the rest of the signature. And the +5 is a pretty big tip off. Its a different color pen and he never puts that on his rushed sigs, so that was added later by someone else.

I still don't see where the flow is not perfect and with the color difference of the pen that could have been my fault when I took the picture or he just pressed harder when he wrote the + and 5. It would make sense, if I signed my name and then a number the number would be darker because you have to pick up the marker and write again. And I have seen him put the +5 with other fast autographs as well look on ebay or google his auto and look at the images.

Just dont think its real. You can always save some $$ and go to the Winter Warm up and pay $175 and get him to sign an item. Probably cheaper than anything you can buy on ebay signed by him. Been doing it for 6 years now, plus the money goes to charity.

As you can see, a few of us have posted our 'opinions' on your Albert Pujols autographed photo. And since some of us think it's authentic and others don't.... this is what it 'feels' like to be a part of the autographed memorabilia hobby. You will always be in doubt about whether it's authentic or not. You'll never know. If you think it's best to return the photo and get a full refund... then by all means, do so.

The worst thing you can ever do to yourself is wonder every night whether your photo is 100% authentic or not. Something as small as that can bother you so much that I'm sure you're going to get a little obsessed with it one day.... if not, probably several days or forever!

I'm curious, what did the seller tell you about the photograph and was the sales FINAL?

2 things I would have went to the Winter Warmup but they sold out way too fast. Second I bought this from a guy who had 3 photos I bought two this one and a yadier molina, he also had a holliday and they were all on 11x13 photos also he told me he got them at Spring Training which is not a far shot. I will show you guys later tonight the yadier photo and you will see it is real so if that one is wouldn't you think the Pujols would be to. Mind you this seller does not have any more Pujols autos only this one and also sells only legit stuff. Look at the name justsigned4u on ebay that is the guy who sold it to me I am pretty positive he is legit but I will end up taking this to JSA anyway. Like I said later I will put my collection up as I promised, I am at work now.

Hard to tell if he's legit or not as he doesn't have a lot of certified items. So I guess the only argument he can make is that he gets all autos in person but even that is really difficult to trust. Not saying what he sells is fake.... just saying you may never know. But if the seller is being honest with his items and offers a 100% money back guarantee, then the ball is in your court and the seller has nothing to hide.

If you end up sending this photo to JSA, I'd really like to know what they say. It'd be interested to see if it comes back as authentic or not. Keep us posted.

Albert Pujols is $40.00 per item now? Is it because of his hamstring injury and that he's not playing well this year?

The seller said he got the Pujols, Molina and Holliday Photos from the Spring Training Reception in FL this year. Also I bought this in June I just never got around to showing PSA or JSA because I thought for sure its authentic and I still do. But I guess I will have to bite the bullet and send it to JSA I hate waiting to see if its real or not that is the worst part.

If I told you guys what I paid for this collection you would not believe me but every Pujols auto I have shown you has a JSA LOA. Here is an idea of what I paid, the Jersey and the Game used ball I bought from some lady off Ebay for $85 and $65 thats it and they are both real and JSA told me the ball is indeed game used. I will tell you this each and every auto I got I did not pay more than $100 for the item. The most was the Rookie Ball, and a Cubs fan sold that to me LOL. If you want the LOA #s I will tell you them later I just don't have the LOAs right now and I don't like taking my memorabilia out of the cases.

The ST reception is for season ticket holders only, so ask the seller if he is one. Its a nice event for the ticket holders to meet the various athletes and walk around the complex, which for ST is pretty nice. PM coming your way dotydogg

Is it me or does Albert Pujols has some of the (and not to offend anybody) worst handwriting ever? I look at Yadier Molina's autographs and I can see the consistency, flow, clarity, and movement on all 3 autos which exhibit similarities...... and that it's so easy to spot with the naked eye! I look at Albert Pujol's autos and I don't know what the hell I'm looking at! I see a fat "A"....sometimes a slim jim "A". Other times I spot a smooth "A" but then again there's the naked "A". Then you got a ton of variations of the P's and S's..... plus they're quite moody.

Send all 4-5 variations of Albert Pujol's autos to JSA or PSA/DNA... and those 3rd party authenticators would be like, "Holy mackerel! Now we're in some deep shi*! Oh well, we like the money. So we hereby certify these autographs as 100% authentic! Now pass this shi* along folks!" :sign0020:
If only Albert Pujols kept his autos a little more simple. Heck... Pete Rose, Ken Griffey Jr, Mark McGwire, Yogi Berra, and many more famous athletes did a better job keeping their autos simple and the 'same' throughout their careers!

P.S. By the way, great collection! Can't believe you got the Albert Pujols Jersey for $85.00. I'm wondering if the seller (who you said was a woman) was aware of the value of an Albert Pujols autographed jersey?

I think that the Pujols is a IP rushed signature... This also proves the fact that 3rd party authenticators don't know what they are talking about. <br />
I feel that the crazy price those authenticators...
