But they don't pay enough!!!!! Remember, a secretary shouldn't pay more then a Billionaire. (How the Billionaire couldn't figure out the truth is mind boggling...)

When 46% that dont pay any taxes at all and get refunds start contributing to the pie then there will be fairness in the tax system , Then Ol' Barack can start again with his "lets make the tax code fair".

It's not true to say they don't pay taxes at all. They don't pay income taxes.

Of course some may pay state and local taxes but to pay no federal and get a refund ?

I think he's talking sales tax, property tax ect....

Actually, anyone who works pays 6.2% in social security tax for up to $106,000 of income and 1.45% medicare tax on all income. For 2011, the 6.2% has been temporarily lowered to 4.2%.

We all also pay 18.4 cents/gallon in federal excise taxes on gasoline purchases.
