So did we determine that it was a buy back auto? If so, values aren't that hot. Good luck! My feeling is. if you collect Ahman Green, you gotta have it!
See ya at the convention!

View Full Version : Football Experts I need your help with this card.... The Vikes 01-01-1999, 11:18 AM So did we determine that it was a buy back auto? If so, values aren't that hot. Good luck! My feeling is. if you collect Ahman Green, you gotta have it! See ya at the convention! Qball76 03-26-2003, 12:32 AM Does anyone have any idea what a 2002 Playoff MVP Contenders Autographed card #MVP-10 of Ahman Green is worth.. I am thinking about purchasing one and I cannot find it's price anywhere...I'm relatively new to collecting after a 15 yr break so I don't even know if this is even a good brand of card, to me it looks like a really nice card but I'm not sure what kind of value these cards hold....If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it....Thanks cardinalfan15 03-26-2003, 12:50 AM On beckett all I could find is that brand of card that is not signed. Is this autograph certified because as far as I can tell, this must be an autographed obtained by the person you are buying it from. The card does book 1.25-3.00 in beckett but don't know what an autograph would be. Hope this helps. stkmtimo 03-26-2003, 09:46 AM The person probably mailed the card to Ahman Green, or met him and had it signed. I'd rather have a certified auto. Tim Qball76 03-26-2003, 11:08 AM According to the seller it is and the scan it appears to be just like any other Auto, it is numbered 24/25 and I found were it is listed but the price is NA due to scarcity according to Beckett...I have found other ones in the set that are RC Autos with a print run of like 200 and those ones are valued at anywhere between $80 all the way up to $240...I just don't want to bid to much because I don't know mcuh about this brand of card...Any help would be appreciated thanks... Qball76 03-26-2003, 11:11 AM Here is a link to the auction if it helps anyone to figure out the value... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20882&item=2719259721&rd=1 stkmtimo 03-26-2003, 11:23 AM That definitaely is certified. Now the real question is how much it is worth. I'll work on finding out a value of it for you. Tim IggyWH 03-26-2003, 12:18 PM I have no clue on a value, but I'd say $50 is a nice price on it. stkmtimo 03-26-2003, 12:21 PM I'd agree with Iggy on that one. $50 seems reasonable. Tim Qball76 03-26-2003, 12:31 PM Oh I defenitely agree it's worth $50 as a Ahman Green collector, but the thing I'm wondering is how many other people are thinking that same thing and how high are they willing to go, that's why I wish I had some idea of value so I had something to go by, but the way it looks I guess I'll just have to bid blind LOL!!!! jag 04-02-2003, 05:20 PM 50 seems about right for the HI price. stkmtimo 04-04-2003, 10:19 PM $5.00 S/H? Whoa! That seller is nuts :) Tim |
