Does anyone know of autographs inserted into the 1991 Score set? I've been wondering if they inserted Mantle, can't find any info, though.

IggyWH 03-26-2003, 12:13 PM It's been a WHILE, but if I remember correctly, they auto's didn't come in packs (as the same as the hot rookies). They came in this like packaging of loose cards in a hot wheels type packaging (cardboard back with bubble plastic covering the goods) that had like 50 cards and in those were the ones you could get the auto's and each one came with a hot rookie insert. stkmtimo 03-26-2003, 12:19 PM Ohhh, you're right, Iggy! I remember now. The Ted Williams in the 1992 UD lo series came in the packs, as did the Bench/Joe Morgans in the hi series. The Mantle/Griffey Jr. were in the 1994 UD set but were in their own seperate packaging too. I'm going to buy a ton of 1992 UD boxes in hopes of getting the Ted Williams /2500. Tim It would be cheaper for you just to buy the autograph card rather than spending the money trying to get it from packs. I've seen so much product from 90,91,92 sell for dirt cheap. Mainly fleer donruss and score. The Mantle auto was issued in Series two packs along with the 7 card set.
