Yea some people are just cruel & can't keep their thoughts & beliefs to themselves.

1st rule of Humanity is "Treat everyone the same as you'd want to be treated"

According to the article, he was. The bar owner took it further by apologizing personally and providing sentitivity training for his employees.

+1 to the owner.

By that afternoon, the bartender responsible was fired. Mr Fullelove told ABC 13: I just dont understand how somebody could think thats a joke. I mean, its not a joke. Its not how I run my business.

Later, Mr Fullelove met with Mr Ghalayani personally, and formally apologized, prompting Ghalayani to update his Yelp post. He wrote: I wanted to update this I was able to speak to the owner and have a good conversation about my experience at Petrol. He sounded sincere and I appreciated his swift response once he was notified of the issues by the local community.

Mr Fullelove said his employees would be receiving sensitivity training as a result of the incident.

On a slightly lighter note, I wonder if he actually ate that burger...

The article says he was given a refund by the manager. The pic looks like it was taken on the bar.
