If you have a magnifying glass look at a vintage card that you know is real and compare the mantle to it, the dots will let you know if it is real or not

Also I'd need to see the back. With a simply google search for 52 I think you will find that your 52 Mantle will come up fake.

On the B variation (which your is) it requires, that a print pixel is missing in the blue background near the left edge, roughly even with the brim of Mantle's cap. This version of the fake does not have the proper missing pixel. The easiest way to spot these is by looking at the blue background around Mantle, which will appear to have a greenish tint to it.

Before I even scrolled down to read the comments, my very first thought when I saw the picture was, "The background is the wrong color." I would bet money that your card is a fake. I'm not saying that for sure, but I'm pretty sure. Maybe the color is off from the scan... There are also a couple of other things that look suspect as well. I agree with the previous poster though, you should post a scan of the back. And while your at it, post another scan of the front, just to be sure on the color. It's pretty easy to spot a fake when you have the front and the back of the same card to look at...if you know what you're looking for. Out of curiosity, did you suspect it of being a fake? Or is this horribly bad news? Best of luck!
