I live about 80 miles away from VT. It is weird how secretive they are being over this. The local news has been essentially a rehashing of the same stuff. They are not releasing the identity of the shooter, not releasing of whether or not the officer returned fire...it is just weird. Up until late last night they wouldn't even confirm if the gunman was dead.
