ill try to keep this story short. a couple of years ago, i ordered a maurice richard 99-00 upper deck retro INKredible autograph from a store in British Columbia called NORTHERN EXTREME. it was worth $50 at the time and i was going to buy it for $20. well i placed the order and payed for the card right around the time maurice richard got sick. i waited three weeks for the card and it was supposed to take 1 week. when rocket richard died, i called the guy who i ordered the card off of and he said that he couldnt send it to me because "he accidently had it reserved for someone else". well he sent me a 99-00 patrik stefan BAP gold auto instead (YAY!!!!!). the next month i looked in beckett only to find that the same NORTHERN EXTREME guy had placed an add in beckett advertising his numerous INKredible richard auto's for $50 apiece. i got ripped off big-time so i just thought i'd share that with you.
anyhow.....im still looking for this richard card so if you or anyone you know has it pleeeeeeeaaaaaase let me know.
**maurice richard 99-00 UD retro INKredible auto***
currently books for $100

I don't have one, but I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune on the Richard autograph card.

iggy, im glad to see a fellow pittsburgher. i will definitely be watching and rooting for the panthers tonight. the stefan used to be worth more, but has plummeted (like his career). one thing though....what have you got against mario?

I used to be a HUGE Pens fan, but I just can't deal with the lies anymore. I understand they have to do all these roster cuts for financial reasons... but why is Lemieux paying himself BASE over 5.25 million? If we're so broke, why is he sucked dry over 5 million a year from the team? All he's doing is getting his back money that was owed to him from the Baldwin era. I'd have no problem with him doing this if he'd just came out and say he wants his money... but no, he says these roster cuts are so they can survive. Well how about this... cut yourself!

Interesting point, if he's playing "for love of the game", why does that love cost the team millions?

if mario was paying on any other team he'd be making 11 million a year. why should he sacrifice his already frail health for 1 million a year. plus him playing for the pens easily makes up for the money he makes in the amount of tickets and memorabilia he sells by himself. that being said let's get back to the original topic...lol

That is true, but he's not playing for another team. He's playing for a team that he owns and that team is in financial trouble. Yet he goes and takes 5+ million and puts it in his bank account. The Adelphia family members are in jail right now for similar actions.

i used to think that too. but if it wasn't for mario we would have no penguins to argue about right now. they wouldve been long gone in the 80's.

Lemieux is making the least the NHL allows him to
