This is becoming a scary pattern for large American companies.

not surprising they are having troubles. They main focus of printers, photo paper, and film are all dying due to technological advancements. They'll have to find ways to profit form that to stay a viable company.

They have a lot of comeptition now a days. There are so many companies fdoing the same thing that prices have become very competitive. Brands are very competitive and Kodak is not as famous ad HP when it comes to printers or compouter related items. If we go on the camera side, thre is no way that Kodak is going to compete agains Sony or Samsung.

They need to give the 950 million back and accept the companies failure and let it fade into history, I am sick of trying to save there companies that need to fail and go under

And they got the $950 million from citi another company that needed gov't funding to keep from going under. Another classic case of the blind leading the blind. SMH.

Exactly, yet they are treated as if their collapse will end life as we know it....

I wouldn't say scary, more expected. When was the last time someone bought something from Kodak

Last thing I can remember was a disposable camera like 10 years ago.

Heck I thought they went under years ago I'm amazed they made it this long.

I think we need to bail them out just like the auto industry. They are to big to fail. What is our tax money for anyway? We can not let these people become jobless! We must stop this now.
