View Full Version : Eagle vs. a Panther radioheadfloyd 03-28-2003, 12:21 AM How the hell did a golden eagle beat up on a panther?? IggyWH 03-28-2003, 03:18 AM All I have to say is... the team that showed up wasn't my Panthers... my Panthers don't let up 75 points to Marquette :( IggyWH 03-28-2003, 12:22 PM Now that I'm sober, I can talk a little better. That game was just complete shyt! Those weren't my Panthers out there... that was some other team that fell apart. Defense was never there and showed when D-Not got benched for the last 8 minutes of game. Takes some serious balls to do that to a 4 year starting senior, but that's why I love Ben Howland so much. Next hurdle for the Panthers... figure out a way to keep Howland here and not going to UCLA! I'll tell you what though, these damn selection committee's better quit matching us up with these Golden teams... last year it was the Golden Flashers, now it's the Golden Eagles :( gioperation 03-28-2003, 01:58 PM it just shows that when it is time to play some teams just don't show up. how many times is that, no elite 8 for the panthers, and I was rooting for them until they played kentucky. That is pretty cool acting on the part of the panthers, how they were drinking with iggy and using their stunt doubles to play the game. how can you not root for a panther. gio radioheadfloyd 03-28-2003, 02:08 PM I had them beating KY, now my brackets are falling apart! stkmtimo 03-28-2003, 04:26 PM Told you guys, Pitt didn't have what it took to make it to the Final Four. Now a team like KANSAS does. GO JAYHAWKS! PS - don't mention Oregon in this post :) Tim radioheadfloyd 03-28-2003, 05:17 PM Originally posted by stkmtimo Told you guys, Pitt didn't have what it took to make it to the Final Four. They won't even make it to the finals! j.e.lew 03-28-2003, 06:04 PM I feel like the guy in that beer commercial, All Jets fans and Miami scores, he pops up from nowhere......... WoooHOOOOOOO!.... ........ (really soft) whooo. stkmtimo 03-28-2003, 06:44 PM Ouch, radiohead, you're wrong. AZ will get blown away by my boy Nick Collison, Channing Frye will be no match for him. NICK COLLISON = PLAYER OF THE YEAR. GO KANSAS! Tim radioheadfloyd 03-28-2003, 07:52 PM Originally posted by stkmtimo Ouch, radiohead, you're wrong. Tim No, see TJ Ford was player of year and I have TX over AZ over KS, so the best Kansas can be is 3rd. :hop: stkmtimo 03-28-2003, 08:07 PM Texas is terrible, how they got a #1 seed over Kansas, I will never know. Kansas will prove themselves and annhiliate all competition. UConn will beat Texas, too. Second, Arizona is too sporadic to win any championship this year. TJ Ford was Player of the Year, but he didn't deserve it, he's a great point guard but many other people deserved it more. Kansas wins it all. Besides you had UCONN losing in the 2nd round to Stanford. Go Longhorns! stkmtimo 03-28-2003, 09:55 PM Well, now that Texas will play Maryland, they can kiss their dreams good-by. Steve Blake and the boys will give them a battle. Michigan State stands no chance. We'll see who gets to the National Championship game, and it isn't going to be Texas! Tim stkmtimo 03-29-2003, 12:26 AM Maryland lost to a crappy Michigan State team. Don't worry, folks, Michigan State isn't going anywhere. Tim |
