Beware!!! Scam on Ruth Cut Auto on Ebay

I made a deal with seller vincent12047 to purchase a 1/1 Babe Ruth Timeless Treasures Cut Auto, ebay item #260964206718.

I sent the money thru paypal via echeck and sent a message to the seller thru ebay and the paypal email address to confirm they received my payment and to please cancel auction. They messaged me back thru ebay and said they had my payment and as soon as funds cleared the card would be sent.

Two days later, I received a response from the email address i sent funds to saying this:

You paid a purchase by mistake. I don't sell any cards on ebay. You funds will be returned cuz I won't confirm this with ebay.

So after this I contacted ebay user and he replied thru ebay with this:

Dear texas-legends,
Hello, Janet is my business partner. I was going to call her on Monday. The funds went to the correct PayPal account. Your item will be shipped soon. Everything is fine. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by this matter. Thanks!

After exhanging several messages back and forth, I was assured from both the ebay member and the owner of the paypal account that the deal was good, it was a miscommunication on their part, and the card was mine. At 4:57pm on Monday 2/27 I got this message

Hello Kaine,

Everything is fine. Your item will be shipped after the funds have cleared. Thanks!"

Thinking all was fine, I was shocked, and probably shouldnt have been considering what I had been thru, to see the card relisted on ebay at 6:40 pm central time, less than 2 hours after my last communication, the card was relisted on ebay with a buy it now considerably less than the amount I paid for it.

They have not replied to any more of my messages and the rest of my day today will be spent contacting my bank, paypal, ebay, and local authorities about this. I wanted to warn all the message boards I could about this also,

go file a paypal dispute bud FAST!!!!! as long as you didnt send gift payment....you should be just fine.....hopefully you settle this soon.....i know this can be a pain in the rear end....

I contacted paypal and since it was echeck I had to call bank and place stop payment on echeck, Im good on that luckily, more ticked off because I have wanted a nice Ruth Auto for pc for as long as Ive collected and I sold a lot of my Jordans to make room for this purchase. Thanks for replies, just dont want this guy to do this to someone else

Man there is an extremely nice Babe Ruth/Roger Maris Cut Auto on eBay right now that will most likely end under $6000. It's at $3 something right now.
