It's a good article. You should check it out when you get to another computer.

after reading the first two paragraphs, i had to stop!!

SICKENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trayvon Martin was just beginning his life. Trayvon Martin was a son. He was a high school junior, with college to look forward to, a career and perhaps a family of his own.

Trayvon Martin was many things, but for George Zimmerman, he was just Black.

If thats in the article,I don't need to read it.If you wanna know why, look back on my last post in the Trayvon Martin thread..I don't think black had anything to do with it as much as lack of communication and bringing up on both individuals.Once again...my opinion.~~Dave C.

the thing is when the dispatch asked zimmerman to describe the individual, zimmerman did not say anything about race, until the dispatcher asked. it's right in the dispatch log, but maybe that was part of the police cover up

Funny how Islamic websites write about intolerance, when you can barely find a Christian, Jew, or other religious person other than Islam in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Morocco or most other Muslim Countries. They are completely intolerant of any other religion. See attachment. Link here: http://www.pewforum.org/newassets/images/reports/Muslimpopulation/Muslimpopulation.pdf

And should we start on how they oppress their women? I'm 100% certain African Americans have more rights and get treated better in America than a Jew or woman would get treated in just about any town or village in Iran, Saudi, etc. Reading an article from an Islamic site talking about oppression or intolerance is laughable.

I am not even wasting my time reading anything on that website anymore. I have yet to read anything there that isn't slanted, deceptive or outright lies. I have better things to do with my time than waste it on that garbage.

So how is that different from any of the right wing slanted websites like the blaze, the rat, drudge, fox, etc?

You're absolutely right. It's one thing to be biased in the content you publish, being it more sympathetic to the left or to the right. It's another to be intentionally misleading and factually inaccurate, and that website is among the worst I've ever seen.

Obviously, the typical liberal response would be to avoid the issues of that website's factual inaccuracies and instead make baseless claims that right leaning websites like fox, the blaze, or drudge are "just as bad" without (of course) providing any facts to support their argument.

I have read enough of Islamaphobia articles to know that they typically either outright lies or use partial truths to try and prove they are right.

And I don't read any of those other sites. I occasionally read Fox but there articles are almost always referenced from other news sources or the AP. Very rarely are their artciels OpEds like they are on Islamaphobia.

Fox is actually a pretty bad website. I get most of my news from drudge, which actually doesn't publish any of its own content. The Blaze is a decent site for stories the mainstream media doesn't often cover. Neal Boortz has a blog (Neals Nuze) that links some good reading material as well.

I only read FoxNews for the info that mainstream media ignores. I ignore anything that is OpEd. I only read stuff that is based on studies or government reports and can be fact-checked.

Fact-checking an Islamaphobia article accomplishes one thing...proving that the article is factless.

You'd probably like Boortz's commentary since he is a strong libertarian.
