He gave his life saving a child who was not his own. He is a hero regardless of his occupation. Unfortunatley there is no controversy in this story so it will not get that much media play.

This day in age with the term hero being so misrepresented I must say that anyone whether solider or not who gives of themselves in a manner like this should never be forgotten.

While I would normally agree with the terrible coverage of mainstream media. Can you please define what you see as mainstream?

What I believe is sad is that the media will forget about this individual too quickly!
