Still waiting for the new statistics to come out. This was 2010 statistics collected by the FBI.

Of the 6,008 known offenders, 58.6 percent were white and 18.4 percent were black. For 12.0 percent, the race was unknown, and the remaining known offenders were of other races.

I decided to go to Youtube and type in "Whites attack Blacks", Blacks attack Whites". I was surprised at what I found.

How can 12% be deemed a hate/race crime if the race of the offender is unknown?

God I hate "hate crimes"
Let's say I hate a guy. Can't stand him. Want him dead. Let's say I go beat him within an inch of his life. Is that a hate crime? I did it because I hate him, but if he's the same colour and everything as me it is not a hate crime, even though hatred was the motive.

Meanwhile if I get drunk and decide to punch the next person I see and that person just happens to be black or asian or gay, it's now a hate crime. No hate was involved, it wasn't done for nefarious reasons. Just because I was drunk and wanted to hit someone. It's a hate crime even though stupidity, not hatred, was the motive.

It's a completely ridiculous product of the imagination of out-of-touch politicians who's only goal is to remain PC and get re-elected. It's a stupid, stupid law and an example of how far society has fallen.

When I saw how many "non" hate crimes there were on Youtube I shook my head in disgust.

Agreed. Further dividing everyone into categories really doesn't help anything. Unless you show your love and support to people in the form of violent crimes against them. All crimes are hate crimes in one form or another.
