I saw an article on MSNBC that the Norway shooter's trial has started. He admits to killing 77 people but plead not guilty, apparently to get some air time to spread his message.
Perhaps the most surprising aspect of all of this was this...
However, the court will have to decide whether Breivik is sane. If sane, he faces up to 21 years in prison; if deemed criminally insane, he would be committed to psychiatric care.
So he bombed a government building and killed 77 people and he faces 21 years in prison? Seriously? If convicted he will serve an average of 14 weeks in prison for every person that he killed. What a joke.
