Taking the first steps to business ownership

Exciting day!

My wife and I just filed a DBA today to start a bakery out of our house. We're just getting started, but word of mouth is already getting out to people about how awesome her cupcakes are after making them for a few events.

We won't have a storefront for a while, but we're at least getting things off the ground.

Congrats! Your taxes just got really convoluted! Hope everything goes well, keeping Americans fat can definitely be a profitable business venture. I could totally go for a cupcake right now, btw.
