My postmaster past this along to our office on April 26th about emails being sent to customers claiming to be from the U.S.P.S. The letter is below... <br />

Yeah I have gotten these from the USPS, UPS and FedEx. If you are smart you will catch on before doing something stupid.
A) The emails come from an email address named something like USPS.email@example.com (Hint: official email from corporations will not come from Gmail, Yahoo mail or any other mail site. It will come from their corporate site)
B) The emails have an attached .zip file that you have to unzip and open. Why would the USPS, UPS or FedEx send you a .zip file? Think about it...
My mom , who is 73 years old, got one of these emails. Even she realized it was a fake.

Never open unexpected attatchments. If you are unsure call the person who sent you the attatchment to make sure.

Also, if you are not expecting a package, delete the wamil.

A guy came in the post office the other day with this letter and the post office was super confused, hopefully they have this info as well.
