god is god
he has given us the tools it is up to us to use them
this goes back to my version of what free will is, it means you are free from gods grasp, and you can do what you want and what happens is not up to god

Back when I was a christian I would've fully agreed with the quote....
Now, I see it differently:
When Good things happen, God takes credit...
When Bad things happen, God is working in "mysterious" ways...

When Bad things happen, God is working in "mysterious" ways...
Or he has a purpose for letting it happen. That one always baffled me.
