I hope you guys realise that the experts making with the regulations realise anything labeled a class A or B recommedation is pseudo-law. They are not going to recommend something without good evidence.
As for spending, everyone wants to control it unless it affects themselves or their family. The only way to control it is to make harder decisons. Example: A chemo drug that extends life 2 months but cost 150,000 dollars. Cost effective, not so much.
The ultimate answer is make these decisons, increase premiums, or raise taxes. No one likes any of those answers. Since no one wants to increase premiums or raise taxes, these decisions will be made.
