How in the world could the Grizzlies be so stupid. They had to see these guys potential in practice, and not to bash Mike Miller but 2 up and coming rookies for a mid tier player in miller was a little off the wall anywayz. Can someone give me some thoughts about why Memphis would do this deal. IM PUZZLED :hop:

The only thing that I have heard is that Memphis did not like Gooden. I heard that they wanted to trade for Mike Dunleavy, but I guess they couldn't work out a deal with Golden State. Perhaps Memphis will join the ranks of the Clippers!!

I beleive they also got a 1st round pick from orlando

miller is a good player but i dont understand why they would give up 2 very good rookies for a player that isnt going to take over a struggling team.

I agree, but thats why the Grizzlies will always suck

don't dought jerry west (the grizzles GM) he built the lakers by making great moves such as picking nick van exel in the second round, trading vlade divac for kobe bryant, and selecting Deavan George from a division 3 or 4 school
