This youtube vid was one of the ads on scf. I thought that it would be for a good discussion on here. It seems like some of the people on here hate our president for no good reason.

Whether a person agrees or disagrees with how President Obama has run the country,

1.) There is no reason to hate the man

2.) I truly believe he has done his very best with what he was given. I can't imagine what it must be like to lay your head down on a pillow at night knowing every decision you make effects hundreds of millions of people. I do not envy him.

Umm,Umm,Umm, Little John they hate me because I'm a marxists and believe in commie views little John and I wants to destroy America John. You see John, I am trying to destroy your future and well Little Johnny they just don't like it . But ya' Know what Little John , there is this little girl named Julia and if your parents vote for me John you to can have a life like Little Julia's, Taken care of by the Taxpayers, you know those evil republicans that accually do the work. Now run along Little John go tell your parents to vote for me so i can take the rest of their money when all my other POLICIES take effect ..

Obviously the video is a staged question put on by Team Obama , This video has been out and I believe the kid who ask the question is a son of a Huge Obama bundler/contributor, I'll check on that though. I personally don't HATE Obama how ever I do HATE his POLICIES, and his smug arrogance towards the American people . If the man could just tell a bit of truth people might like him more .

That kid was 99.9% likely planted.

I'd also assume most people (atleast on here) don't hate Obama (because they don't actually know him), but they disagree with the way he goes about his business, which can't be blamed, since he's pretty bad at his job.

Do you ever look in the mirror?

I'm so over the "Obama wants to destroy america". It's a complete scare tactic point of view and apparently many have eaten it right up. You can say that you don't agree with his policies or that some of the things that he has done hasn't been positive, but to say he wants to destroy america is completely absurd. The whole socialist/marxist/commi tags are laughable as well. To act like we haven't lived in a socialist society ever since the government started collecting taxes to pay for social programs is looking at the topic with blinders on.

The major issue that Bush ran into with people liking him or not was when he started going to war. I never hated Bush and never thought he was out to destroy the United States like many people claim Obama is out to do. That claim is just so over the top it's hilarious.

I can only say this, I do not agree with many of his thoughts or actions. I don't hate the man or wish him harm, I just don't think he'd be the guy I would sit down with and share a nice cool beer.

And yes, I must be a War Loving Son of a gun because I stated this. His own actions speak volumes on how he continiously try to hurt the very ones protecting our country and or in harms way. He is constantly (Like many politicians) only looking to gather enough votes to hold on to the power that they so Love. After all being President isn't about being paid well, it's about the power that comes with being POTUS/Commander and Chief.

This comment isn't sanctioned by any one party because I have no party affliations. So please don't make it that.

not to be off track of this thread, but is it cold blood if the teenager is attacking the shooter? to me cold blood is when the person is just minding their own business. Not saying the murder was justified or not, but it seems like the evidence doesn't follow suit with it being called "in cold blood".

I just don't see all of these actions that have hurt the country so terribly. As far as the ones protecting this country... he's the one withdrawing them... granted it's slowly and much slower than I had hoped when I voted for him.

I do agree with you that the primary effort of most politicians is to keep their jobs. that's one of the major reasons why simple things can't get done.

Thats a major stretch. He was saying to sum it up if you hate what a person stands for, believes in, and how they live their life he is pretty sure you'd hate that person whether you've met them or not. Saying you hate everyone you disagree with is a HUGE stretch. I think Mint Choclate Chip is the best ice cream, but you might disagree and feel vanilla is. Does that mean we hate each other? Big difference depending on what sort of disagreements we have.

the ones that SHOULD hate him are the ones that LOVE him. The people that believed that any politician could solve our their problems with OBAMA MONEY. He encompasses what is wrong with the republican mantra that Americans can spend their money better then the gov't. If that was so then why is this man president? Fortunately for us all everything is cyclical and Americans have the right to learn and move on and that is what we need to do this election./

If it had looked like the Republicans had a real shot last election, they wouldn't have left the mess they did for Obama. Instead they put up McCain and Palin and flushed.

wickabee, you are forgetting the dems ruled the house and senate for the last 2 years of bush. the first year they took over bush was badgered for there being a 5.2 unemployment rate, where did it go from there? so the mess was not purely on the republicans, but they helped.

after bush who would have had a chance on the republican side? nobody

i don't think things are looking good this time either, but there are a few things i would love to see happen in 2016

Oh, I know. The design was the Republicans' (read: Not Bush per se) and the Democrats shot themselves in the foot.
The Republicans knew they didn't stand a chance against Obama in '08, so they put up joke candidates and focused all energy on tearing Obama down. The Democrats would have done the same if they didn't think Gore could beat Bush (and then they were cocky with Kerry for some reason...if Gore couldn't beat him the first time, why would a Gore clone beat him the second time). I'm not saying one is any better than the other, but the Republicans planned this particular "economic downturn" so they stood a chance against Obama this year...and look, it's worked!

No, I think they saw it coming and did nothing to stop it for a reason.

Comparable to the Iraq war. I think the Republicans wanted a war in Iraq. I think they saw the 9/11 attacks coming and did nothing to stop them, knowing that they could turn it into a war. DO I think Bush and Cheney had anything to do with the planning and execution of the attacks? Not for a second, but I believe they saw it coming and did nothing to stop it so they could use it.

Just like the economy.

And yes, that means I don't think they give a damn about you or your family. But that's from my perch up here in Canada. My vision may be clouded by syrup
