For the first time in 14 years, the world series champs will return the entire starting roster.

Do the Angels have what it takes?

I do! Only one player -- Adam Kennedy, had a career year. Hopefully they can continue their clutch hitting and strong pitching.

No tickets to tonight's opening game, so I'm watching it on ESPN.

I say no just because I think they got lucky last year. I don't know who to think will win it all though. On a little sidenote, anyone watching the game catch that etopps ad?

I think they'll do good this year but it is going to be tough to repeat with the Twins, A's and the Yankees compeating with them to go to the World Series.

well, it wasn't a good start, lol.

If the Rangers get any type of pitching, they have a chance to get to the play-offs.

That lineup of A Rod, Juan, Palmiero, even Sierra -- that's vicious!

It'll be harder to repeat. Expect Oakland and White Sox to give them trouble.

agree about Oakland, not sure about them Sox.

Can Frank Thomas, with his low salary (LOLOL), regain his form.

Watch out for Oakland and of course the Yanks.

The Yankees will have no problem making the playoffs. They will be fine without Jeter. They are already 2-0 and have crushed the Blue Jays so far. The Red Sox and no threat to them and they'll easily be in the playoffs. But I don't see them winning it this year. The Twins and A's are going to be very good this year.

Rooting for the Angels to make it also

So far, so good.

2-1

offense seems to be clicking along after opening day jitters.

Of course, Angels played Rangers, so we'll have to wait until they play a team that has pitching, like the A's and Yankees before a better assessment can be made
