One more for 300 for AROD in his career. He will be the youngest player ever to hit 300 if he gets it in the next 82 days. I will go out on a limb here and say I think he'll do it.

no doubt about that I bet he hits 40+ jacks and 150 rbi's this year, back in his old form, as long as he can stay healthy

Definitely as long as he stays healthy. I tried drafting him on my fantasy team, but someone picked him wayyyyyyy too early.

A Rod is incredible.

What a player!

Even if I don't think he warrants a $25M a year contract.

Little good he did in helping the Rangers to last place finishes the last 2 years.

They could've paid me minimum wage, and the results in the standings wouldn't have been any different.

and not a lot of people know this but in the 8,9 and 10th year he has to be the highest paid SS in the league guaranteed. if is not whether he deserves the $$$ or not, it is just like a job they only pay you enough to keep you there and no more. BB players are no more than high paid salary employees. Most of them will tell you that they are over paid, but they will take what they can get just like you and I.

GI -- wow, I didn't know that.

but somewhere down the future, the skyrocketing salaries have to stop.

Even A. Rod has talked, and I seriously doubt he'd go through it, that he'd renegotiate the contract to bring in other players to help Rangers win a world series

ARod ought to renegotiate his salary. Texas needs pitching!

well, it didn't take A Rod long to hit #300.

lol

3 games into the season, and he's got 2 homers.

And the Rangers are 1-2.
