I will say he will.

I gotta go with negative on this one. Arod for the most part spreads out his homeruns and doesn't hit them in spirts, so 2 games in a row with a homerun to start off the season is unlikely for him. But hey, it's Arod, you never know!

Sure, why not.

He usually performs terribly on Opening Day --- but did well yesterday.

Question is: can he keep up his pace so he gets to 500-600 homers at a relatively young age.

Look at how badly Griffey has tailed off

Hey, you give me that 312 foot porch in right field in Seattle Griffey had and I can hit 400 HR's too!

I would say that he has a chance to. He is a good player and as podstock said he usually starts of slow but it may be different this season. :)

and there you have it. A Rod hit homerun #300. Took 3 games, and he became youngest ever to do so.

Now, waiting to see how long it takes Sammy to hit 500.

I'd say a couple more games for 500 but not much longer.

At 50+ a year who think A-Rod will hit 500 in 4 years?

I doubt A Rod hits 50 homers a year.

But of course, if the Rangers keep getting eliminated from play-offs by July, then pitchers will keep pitching to him, and he would have a great chance.
