CONTEST RULES:
1. Contest is for auctions won between 12:00am EST September 1 and 11:59pm EST September 30. Only auctions won during that time will be accepted for entry! Entries will be accepted until October 1, 11:59pm EST (8:59pm PST).
2. Three (3) auctions per member per month. Please edit your wins into one post. If a member submits more than three entries for the month, only the first three will be considered. The auction needs to be on single cards, not on a box of cards. Choose wisely! (Hockey only, please check the other sports for similar contests)
3. Post a link to your Ebay auction win. You can provide a screen shot if you want to show it off, but a link to the auction MUST be provided.
4. The Ebay user ID in your SCF profile MUST match the user ID of the winning bidder!
**I will not chase people to make sure that there Ebay Profile is set up properly on SCF. If your ID is not set up, your entry will not be accepted. If you do not know how to setup your Ebay user ID in your SCF profile, feel free to contact me but I will not chase people down for it.
5. Explain why you think your card is a steal. If it has a BV, let us know. You can even show previous auctions that ended to compare your win. Convince us!
6. The Hockey moderating team will vote on the winner. Winner will be announced after the votes are in and given 150cc into their account.
7. Member must be in good standing. Please refer to the SCF Rules page (http://www.sportscardforum.com/view.php?pg=rules)on infractions.
8. Please make sure that the auction you submit is not a private listing (where eBay IDs are not shown). Private listing auctions will not be accepted as winning bidder user IDs cannot be verified.

SCF staff cannot participate in this contest.

Card Cash (CC) can be used for purchasing cards from our Card Cash store, purchasing cards from Card Cash auctions, purchasing cards from other members, playing SCF arcade games, and for betting.

$125 for the Depres is outrageously high, the highest Nuge went for $100... nonetheless, the Despres you got is insane. Could be a good deal, could not be, we can only wait and see, but I'm shocked at how high the other one went.

Strangely enough this is my first post in a steal of the month thread, considering that I try and make every purchase a steal. I suppose laziness does truly rule my life lol. Anyways, here's one from recently:

Not the greatest player, but an RC auto #ed to 5 for less than $5 INCLUDING shipping seems like a pretty wicked deal to me. As anyone who has ever collected a player or team knows, eventually a card like this ends up being the last on your wantlist due to its scarcity. So I'm sure I'll be able to get back far more than I put into it!

Terribly listed. This is a redemption for one of those sweet mirror gold prime auto RC's from certified of Devante Smith-Pelly. And because I asked the seller to just e-mail me the code, I didn't have to pay shipping and therefore only paid $5.50 for this one.

There were a handful of contenders for my third place steal, and I may even replace this one if I find something better later in the month. But a dual auto/jersey of 2 established players #ed to 10 for a little more than 8 bucks seems pretty sweet to me.

Yes, it seems like I got trigger happy. Upon furthet research, maybe not a steal. I only looked up despres the first go around. Landeskog went for 90 gardiner for 60 ect. I think the person who picked up that despres for 125 was his grandma. Only explanation. I think I was duped. You can probably remove this submission, unless his grandpa needs a copy. ;-)

I would classify this as a steal! A nice PC addition for me for only $6.26 DLVD !! I have seen one go as high as $80, that one had more of the Oil Drop in it. Others have gone for 30-50 from what I remember, and this one has a tiny piece of the oil drop on the top left corner if you look closely. I will take it!
