This can probably serve as a guide to determine which polls to take seriously down the stretch run. Beware of polls that poll one party significantly more than the other (obviously), and polls that poll registered voters as opposed to likely voters.

Notice all of the network polls, the most widely-published and presumably the most influential, were among the least accurate.

I don't think there's such a thing as an influential poll. I've never looked at a poll and thought "Oh that guy's winning, I should vote for him then". Nor have I not voted because a poll says my guy is winning/losing by a lot.
