Last year on another message board I saw something where there was a list of players and member voted on who they wanted removed from the list. I guess sort of a popularity contest. Anyway, I liked the idea and thought I would do that here. For starters I will post a list of 1st baseman and anyone that wants to can make one vote of who they want kicked off the list. Everyone has can vote once for each position and I will remove the top 3 vote getters.
Here is a list of the 1st baseman.

Here's one **NOT** to remove - Scott Spiezo. For the last 2 years, he's had a 0.998 fielding percentage.

Think about that -- almost perfect, at a position where it's vital you don't make mistakes.

And he's not a bad clutch hitter either.

OMG why ortiz, he is cool can't, he needs help in the field, but he can hit if given the chance everyday to play.

Simon went 3-4 today with with 2 rbi's and 2 runs scored and is hitting .500. Iggy is not going to like this. LOL

I am somewhat curious as to why someone would vote for Carlos Pena. I think he has lots of potential and will be a great hitter one day. I thought people liked the up and coming stars.
Is it because he is with the Tigers?

Unlike Neifi Perez(can't really compare the two though), I think Helton would still be a very dangerous hitter outside Coors.
I also think people don't think guys like Castilla, Walker, Helton, Galarraga or Bichette can hit outside coors just because they all put up such rediculous numbers there. They may not have as good numbers but will still be up there. Perez was pretty much a Coors field hitter. Helton is not.

I say martinez after the fight yesterday, larussa talkinga bout the pitcher staring him down, well he never talked about tino staring the pitcher down, I would stare him down as well, but I think that fight came out of frustration, it is amazing what happens when you don't have that yankees lineup batting behind you or the fact that most teams are afraid of the yanks.

my vote martinez cause he is a scrub,
