View Full Version : the killer B's in Houston. gioperation 04-01-2003, 11:27 PM it has now changed to biggio, blum, bagwell and berkman, come on do they have a fetish with the last name starting with B. BGray 04-02-2003, 06:03 AM I think this is probably the last year of the killer B's. For one Blum is likely to be replaced by Ensberg sooner or later and Biggio and Bagwell are both close to seeing the light at the end of the MLB tunnel. BGray Bagwell still has some years left in him. He's almost at 400 HRs and he'd be dumb not to play a few more seasons to get to 500. BGray 04-02-2003, 08:05 PM Yeah, he's doing better so far this year, but half of last season he couldn't even throw the ball across the diamond because of his bum shoulder. BGray Meh. That's why they have it at first base. Don't need to throw the ball that much. If he was in the American League then he'd probably be playing DH not first base. Molina00 04-11-2003, 08:27 PM Biggio is getting up there but still has 2 or 3 years left. Bagwell is still fairly young for all he has accomplished already. What is he, 34? Berkman career just started and Blum is not one of the killer bees. Do bad a former killer bee, Derek Bell, bottomed out like he did. He was a pretty good player. |
