No inside scoop, but I have quite a few Blalock cards so I'd like to see him do well, although he's yet to prove a ton.

I really think its Blalocks to lose, but you never know!

I don't think Perry or Texiera have a chance.

A couple weeks ago, Sports Illustrated pointed their finger at Texiera to be the 3rd baseman which is why Blalock could be moving to second base. Texiera has been so good in the minors. Watch out for him. My bets are on him as a potential rookie of the year...if he can stay healthy.

Texiera, but that's just because I bought 3 of his rookie cards and I don't want to see my money wasted, lol.

Hailing from Texas, I know that Perry is hurt and that's not a good thing with 2 hot prospects on your tail. Blalock should win the 3B spot and Teixeira (correct spelling) will make the team and play 1B part time until Blalock fails again. I have invested in both and hope one of them makes it bigtime. It will be a long year for me if they don't.

I can see Texiera taking the spot... but my second guess would be Blalock

Blalock can't and better not be moved to second. I like Mike Young too much. I would like to see what Perry can do over 162 games but it will probably be Blalock.

Blalock is going to stay at 3rd and texas is going to put teixeira at first or corner outfield. But so far this year, Blalock has been a big producer as far as Avg , HR, and Rbi and has gold glove potential. If I were you I would get as many of his rookies as possible, while they are still available.

you are right, from what I heard, blalock stays at 3rd and teixeira goes to 1b when raffy retires and ludwick is going to play the OF, but until raffy retires or leaves Texas teixiera will play the OF with ludwich playing backup in LF and RF.

I doubt Ludwick will be given all that much playing time with Laynce Nix, Juan Gonzalez, Doug Glanville, Donnie Sadler, Kevin Mench(broken hand), and teixeira. Raffy and Tex will platoon first and DH when Tex doesnt play outfield

It will definitely be Blalock or Teixeira. Don't even mention Herbet Perry, LOL.

I think 3rd base is Blalock's job...isnt Teixeira playing first now and Palmeiro playing DH?

It will be Blalock and they will be moving Teixeira to the outfield possibly. Teixeira can play first base but with the trade from Ugueth we will get a prospect 1st baseman.

They should try to develop Adrian Gonzalez a little more and use him as trade bait. They alreay have plenty of OF'ers and Teixeira looks alright at 1st. As for Blalock, there is not much way he will lose the 3rd base job.

Blalock is the man of the future at 3rd...Teixeira will be the 1B of the future..Raffy if he chooses to stay will be the DH.
