Good news for Red Sox fans. Bad news for Pedro. Looks like he won't be winning any championships for awhile ;)

Hey, if the Angels can win it, any team can win it.

It's all about qualifying for the playoffs, then establishing your momentum going into it.

No offense but you cannot compare the Angels to the Red Sox or even Cubs. These 2 teams have struggled and failed for so many years that no matter what they do right it doesn't seem to help them win anything.

pwaldo..that's true, but before last year, the years had been in existence for something like 47 years without winning a World Series.

At least the Cubs had won a title, albeit it was in 1908s (or somewhere near that time).

Same for the Red Sox.

Anyways, I am happy to see any team win the title (even if it's not my Angels/Dodgers), as long as the $150+M Yankees don't.

I am a really big red sox fan, but if I were Pedro I would not have renewed the contract... I mean how many pitchers can pitch that well and either lose or get a no decision. The other thing is that its not new... they do this every year to him.

You do realize that the Dodgers have a payroll of over $100 million.
