Can someone help?
I found a
1995 Pro Mint Cal Ripken #16 22-karat gold card.
There is a serial number 1919, located on the back of the card.
Anyone know what it's worth, if anything?
Attached is a scan, but b/c the card is all gold-colored, it doesn't come out well

I looked on beckett.com and all it had was a '95 Pro Mint #12 and the high on that was $40 so I'd say you have a pretty valuable card there.

Molina..thanks for the response. Yea, I noticed that too; unfortunately, mine is #16.
I looked it up on Google; but all I saw were a couple of wantlists that needed it. Didn't say how much it was worth

If the base card is worth $40 and yours is 22-K gold and #'rd less than 2 thousand, I would think it to be worth a good sum more than $40.

I wouldn't say its worthless. There has got to be somebody in this country that is will to pay something for it. Especially a Ripken collector.

jdfan, lol. Well, that makes me feel much better.
I wonder how much I paid for it way back when.
Probably a tidy sum.

Back in 95, everyone and there mother had a 22 Karat Gold card out. It might be worth something to a Ripken collector who doesnt have it, but other than that, its probably not very valuable. I have a Babe Ruth, Frank Thomas, and a few Nolan Ryans from the same set, but dont expect to get much for them in trade.
