Wow.

I know I can't believe it.

So much for the "we can't compete in baseball because we are a small market".

Teams like this need to realize that they CAN win the World Series like the Angels.

They just needed to get pitching and make the RIGHT moves.

Hernandez is having an incredible first 3 starts. And McDougal leading baseball in saves. It is unbelievable how they are doing.

I hope the Royals make the play-offs. It's about time that organization got some good news.

Enough with the $150M salary team.

Any kid from a wealthy family can attend Harvard.

But the kid from the ghettos that gets to Harvard --- now that's a special kid with special talent.

Hey I'm all for the Royals making the playoffs. Just as long as they don't get in the Yankees way. ;)

well, it's really early right now.

But, as the saying goes: every win in April helps you out in September.

Royals just playing tremendous baseball. Glad to see that.

Of course, when they play the Angels, I'll be rooting for the Angels.

I think part of the credit goes to Tony Pena. He's a firm believer in positive thinking to the point of wearing t-shirts with positive affirmation slogans during spring training. Go figure.

Yup. Tony Pena does deserve some credit here.

A lot of people think that managers do not mean anything when it comes to winning games but if they have the right manager that believes in the them then they will be better.

Just take a look at the Angels. They got a new manager and were able to turn it around and win a championship.

I think I put a jinx on the Royals. They just lost the other day. Oh well.

Which is why Bobby Cox is such a good manager. He couldn't care less how much his team or Maddux in particular is losing now. And we'll see how this will play out with Buck Showalter, Art Howe and other managers who have more work ahead of them than the Royals.

Who would have thunk it? I would't count on the yankees too much... soooner or later they have to snap... kinda like Jeter's shoulder
