i am writing an article about ways you can get ripped off in the hobby these days i already have several ways wrote down i need some more. it can be about trading,buying off ebay. just need some help

Well, there are tons of ways to get ripped off!!

ON EBAY:
Fake auto's, Fake patches, fake grading services, searched boxes, searched packs (AKA "hot packs"), Dutch auctions.
Bait and switch auctions, where someone will show a picture of a Hobby Box, list it as a hobby box, then send a retail box after you buy it.
Schill bidders, fake vintage cards....ect ect.

uMM, trimmed cards, insane shipping charges, claiming that it is NM when it isn't, UD giving you a lesser value card on a redemption.

Sam, you might want to include a paragraph on the risk us collectors take in trusting a card company with fulfilling redemptions. I just got took for almost $1000 from unfulfilled Fleer redemptions. I mean good gawd whats worse than being ripped off by the card manufacturer.
