Collector's Choice was a cheap set put out by Upper Deck to help people buy cards (though the sets aren't worth much). Upper Deck baseball are more expensive, and were put out many different years (still being made). Collector's Choice is not still being made and it is not listed in Beckett because not many people buy it anymore.

94 Collector's Choice $20.00
95 CC $15.00
97 CC $30.00
98 CC $30.00
99 CC $15.00
They didn't make any after 1999. They changed the name to something else.
Couldn't find a price for 1996.

Collector's Choice was not necessarily a bad set. It was mainly a set that was geared to some of the collector's (young kids) that did not have the money to shell out and it was also an inexpensive way to introduce someone to the hobby. For if they liked it then they could go to the "better" cards and if they did not like it then your not out anything. Also another good thing of them for if you had/have kids you were able to let them play with the C. Choice and not have to worry about them touching your more important cards.
Welp that is my 2 cent for the day. :)

Yes, Collector's Choice use to be worth more a few years ago. Then they discontinued the line and I think they made MVP or something. After that the cards took a drop in price big time.
You might be better off with the basketball cards especially if its Kobe's rookie year.
That is one of the FEW collector's choice sets that still is in demand.
