Hi, I'm wondering what to do about this card I just received I pulled it out of a 2003 Fleer Focus Jersey Edition exactly as you see it...I've never seen anything like this before...you can see the creases on each side of the card...what were they thinking?

Do I send this back to the company? Do I have a chance at all of getting another one?

OUCH! that stinks man! what a nice card too. u can call the company and see if they can replace it but sometimes its a toss up with this. always worth a shot though.

You would not believe this...I just opened another box and found this!!! OMG!!!!

Fantastic pull. Unfortunately, you have almost no shot of getting a replacement since Fleer has closed. Despite the damage, it is still a beautiful card.

i agree Fleer si now owned by UD and they will prolly not do anything, sucks but nice cards

G, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you won't be able to replace the Jeter card. Any cards prior to Upper Deck's buyout of Fleer are not UD's responsibility, they're Fleer's. And as I'm sure you probably already know, Fleer is history.

I could just cry...I have two more boxes...I'm afraid to open them.

I have a Griffey Jr. just like your Ichiro but, lucky mine was actually in nr-mt shape. I feel for ya on that Jeter =( That would be some serious mojo in anybody's book. Maybe the person you got your boxes from didn't handle the boxes with much care while loading and unloading them. Regardless crack open those other boxes I predict more mojo for ya!

I bought these from DCardworld a few months ago...they have been sitting on my buffet since then. I've never received anything from them in bad shape. I have a few more unopened boxes from them...wonder if they would be willing to refund me...not...

Ichiro,Pujols,Jeter Auto that was some insane pulls! Sucks that they have creases but, still throw them on the Bay and be sure to include a detailed description for your buyers as well as some scans. I know for a fact that true player collectors will buy it if thewy don't have it and then try and upgrade it at a later time.

I don't think it was the way the boxes were handled(Maybe like J.Carey in ?? forgot the movie!!), looks like a packaging flaw.
May be wrong, but I'd bet you can still trade them to a player collector for a fair value..Especially the Jeter, Ichiro & Pujols too.

i dont know if the non-autos carry much sell value but the jeter you should still be able to get something. id be interested in ti fi you are looking to dump it, take a look at my site or pm me your asking price

I've gotten 2 boxes of that over the years also, got a Dunn and a Nomar, and both had the same exact damage, I think it was just the way they were packaged.

You can really tell it is in the packaging or production, the creases do not go through to the back, it is only on the front of the card. But it takes that 150.00 Jeter down to about 75.00 (or even less)!
