How about $5? If the owner doesn't like it, he can make a counter offer.

G, I personally don't pay too much attention to BV's. I just usually go by how bad I want the card in question. But I'd probably pay up to $10 for this A-Rod GU.

Thanks. This is the first time I am offering a buy price and I did not want to offend the owner...

I will start at 5.

If you have to pay shipping on top of all that, make sure your TOTAL is no higher than $5 or so... GU cards are a dime a dozen; they're just not that interesting to most collectors that I've dealt with... it IS a-rod, though - that's why it's $5 and not $1 or $2. Just my experience.

Its not necessarirly not interesting to collectors. Its the fact that the card companies have done it again and desroyed the rarity to such a level that collectors do not put as much oof a premium on them compared to how they did in 2000-

That is exactly why I do not care for GU cards.

I traded for a Nolan Ryan card that booked for $300.00 at the time. In less than a year it was down to around $100.00 and now books for $80.00. Probably the reason it is maintaining such a high book is because if I am not mistaken it was the very first Nolan Ryan GU produced.

That is the only GU card I have in my collection and the others I do have were acquired through lot buys. I either trade them or place them in my junk box if nobody wants them after a week or so.
